FULL DAY HUE CITY TOUR (AT/MT01)
Pick up from hotel in Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. A boat trip on the romantically named Perfume River visits Hue’s best-known religious site, Thien Mu Pagoda, and the mausoleum of former emperor Minh Mang, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes. In the afternoon visit the elaborate mausoleums of emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh and the Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. (L)

Return to dry land to visit the Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945 and explore lively Dong Ba Market.
FULL DAY DANANG & HOI AN CITY TOUR (AT/MT03)
Pick up from hotel in Danang or Hoi An. Visit the beautiful Non Nuoc Beach and the Cham Museum containing the finest collection of Cham sculpture in the world. Continue to Hoi An stopping to visit the Marble Mountains, five sacred hills containing dozens of Buddhist shrines, en route. Hoi An was a major Asian trading port in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries and its architecture and relaxed lifestyle have changed little over the years. Take a walking tour of the ancient town center to visit the former merchants’ homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful market. (L)

Take a walking tour of the ancient town center to visit the former merchants’ homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful market.
FULL DAY MY SON & HOI AN TOUR (AT/MT05)
Pick up from hotel in Danang or Hoi An. A half-day trip to visit the capital and religious center of the former Champa Kingdom, My Son. Here, 40km southwest of Hoi An, in a lush green valley, are dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the seventh and thirteenth centuries. Continue to Hoi An for lunch and in the afternoon take a walking tour of the ancient town center to visit former merchants’ houses, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful market. BACH MA VILLAGE GARDEN TOUR (AT/MT06)
This two hour tour offers visitors a chance to stretch their legs on the journey between Danang and Hue in some typical Vietnamese countryside, experience rural life and learn a little about Bach Ma National Park’s unique eco-system and the conservation work being carried out there. On arrival at the Park HQ take a guided tour of the excellent Bach Ma Visitor Center with an introduction to the historical and geographical background of the park and a presentation on the unique flora and fauna of Bach Ma National Park. Enjoy an easy 20-minute stroll through plantations to Khe Su village at the foot of Bach Ma Mountain. Khe Su is home to around 50 families whose main income is derived from the fruit and vegetables they grow in their cottage gardens. A huge variety of crops are cultivated including cassava, beans, sugar cane, tea, bananas, pineapple, mango, coconuts and jackfruit. Typical features of the Vietnamese countryside like lotus ponds, pigsties and stacks of rice stalks can also be seen. Enjoy a refreshing drink of fresh coconut before returning to the Park HQ canteen for lunch. (L)
