Day 1: Arrive HO CHI MINH CITY

Arrive Tan Son Nhat Airport - Ho Chi Minh City. Airport welcome by An Thai guides with signboard.  Pick up and tour around the downtown main streets of  Ho Chi Minh City, formerly called Saigon before transfer to a hotel. Enjoy dinner at local restaurant with traditional music show. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. (L/D)

 

Phan Thiet #1
Day 2: HO CHI MINH CITY - PHAN THIET
 

Leave Ho Chi Minh City by road for Phan Thiet. The scenic 200km drive north on Highway One passes through the bustling city of Bien Hoa before cutting through dense rubber plantations. Nearer to Phan Thiet the terrain changes to arid semi-desert with cactus plants and strange looking dragon fruit trees. Arrive in Phan Thiet in the late morning and check into resort. The rest of day is free to relax by the pool or on the sandy beach at friendliest resort. Overnight in Phan Thiet. (B/L/D)

Day 3: PHAN THIET

A full day at leisure in the resort or on the beach. For the more active, golf is available nearby. Overnight in Phan Thiet (B/L/D)

Day 4: PHAN THIET - NHA TRANG

Leave Phan Thiet for Nha Trang after breakfast breaking the journey at Phan Rang to visit the 13th century Po Klong Jarai Cham Towers perched high on a rocky hill surrounded by prickly pear cacti, taking a view over the entire valley.  After Phan Rang follow Highway One up the coast past salt ponds and vivid green rice fields to Nha Trang. Overnight in Nha Trang. (B/L/D)

 

Nha Trang #1
Day 5: NHA TRANG

A morning boat trip on Nha Trang bay visits some of the nearby islands as Tam, Tre, Mieu, Mot, Mun and there are opportunities to swim and snorkel in the clear warm waters. After a fresh seafood lunch at one of the islands in the bay return to shore for a short afternoon city tour including the Po Nagar Cham Towers, Long Son Pagoda with its enormous white Buddha statue and the lively Dam Market. Overnight in Nha Trang. (B/L/D)

 

Nha Trang #2
Day 6: NHA TRANG

At leisure. Marine sports abound including parasailing, jet skiing, water skiing, diving and relaxing boat trips to the outlying islands. Off the coast of Nha Trang are number of small islands for spending your time – Hon Cau, Hon Pyramid, Hon Noio , Hon Ngoai – where the sea swallows make their nests. Overnight in Nha Trang. Quy Nhon #1
Day 7:
NHA TRANG-QUY NHON

Leaving Nha Trang after breakfast continue the scenic journey northwards up Highway One to Quy Nhon, 240km away, capital of Binh Dinh province and a port town with a large fishing fleet. Transfer to the resort on arrival. Visit Binh Dinh Museum, Brhama statue form Thap Doi and a garuda statue from Duong Long.  The rest of day is at leisure. Overnight at Quy Nhon. (B/L/D)

 

Quy Nhon #2
Day 8: QUY NHON

At leisure at Resort which offers a variety of relaxing treatments at its spa centre. Overnight at Quy Nhon. (B/L/D)

 

Day 9: QUY NHON-HOI AN

Leave Quy Nhon after breakfast for Hoi An, breaking the journey to visit My Son, Cham Holy See – a group of brick edifices thought to be where the remains of Cham kings were kept after cremation.  Drive straight to Hoi An, an ancient and the biggest commercial port on the Thu Bon river in the 16th century where merchant ships from Holland, Portugal, Japan, China,. came for exchanging trade. Visit Quan Cong Pagoda, Trading Ceramic Museum, 400 year old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Temple. Enjoy dinner with Hoi An’s special foods “Cao Lau, Mi Quang”. Discovery “Hoi An  ancient night” with a highlight of the tour around small streets bordered by ancient houses, gorgeous  temples and an old bridge, specially walking around old town at night under the flickering lights of the many beautiful lanterns.   Overnight  in Hoi An. Myson
Day 10: HOI AN - MY SON - HOI AN

A half day trip to visit the capital and religious center of the former Champa Kingdom, My Son. Here, 40km southwest of Hoi An, in a lush green valley, are dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries. On returning to Hoi An the afternoon is at leisure. Overnight  in Hoi An. (B/L/D)

Hoi An
Day 11: HOI AN

A day free to relax on the beach or by the resort pool or perhaps rent a bicycle to ride into Hoi An to explore the picturesque centre of town with its restored 18th century merchants’ houses. Hoi An also boasts some of the best silk shops, art galleries and handicraft shops in Vietnam as well as dozens of excellent restaurants serving the delicious local specialities. Overnight  in Hoi An. (B/L/D)

 

Day 12: DEPART HOI AN 
At leisure until transferring to Danang Airport for onward flight. (B)
