Day 1: ARRIVE HANOI
Arrival in Ha Noi famous for the name of the mythical ascending dragon. Meet your tour guide and transfer to down town. City tour around the bustling 36 street quarter before hotel check-in. Enjoy dinner with traditional music show at local restaurant in town. Overnight in Ha NoI (D).
Day 2: HANOI
A full day city tour of Vietnam’s capital. Hanoi is a unique city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental temples. The city tour includes such sights as Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Fine Arts Museum, the Temple of Literature, the Museum of Ethnology, the Lake of the Restored Sword and the Old Quarter. In the evening enjoy a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi. (B/L/D)
Day 3: HANOI - HALONG BAY - HANOI
After breakfast, an early start to Halong Bay. Enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life. Arrive in Halong and board a private junk for a 5-hour cruise on the emerald green waters of Halong Bay, among the 3,000 spectacular limestone islands. The cruise ends with a fresh seafood lunch on board before heading back to Halong, then on to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi late in the evening and transfer back to hotel. Overnight in Hanoi. (B/L/D)
Day 4 : HANOI - HUE
Transfer to the airport for morning fligh domestic flight to Hue. Arrive Phu Bai Airport. Visit Tu Duc and Khai Dinh Mausoleums – two Nguyen Dynasty Emperors. Boat ride along Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda - one of the oldest ancient architectural structures for religious worship in Hue, Hon Chen Temple, Minh Mang Mausoleum, Imperial Citadel and Museum of Royal Fine Arts… Dinner and enjoy Royal traditional music on boat along Perfume River by night. Day 5: HUE - DANANG – HOI AN
The scenic 4-hour drive via Hai Van pass offers spectacular views of mountains, the sea, idyllic beaches and villages. Transfer to My Son, visit Cham Holy See – a group of brick edifices thought to be where the remains of Cham kings were kept after cremation. Drive straight to Hoi An, an ancient and the biggest commercial port on the Thu Bon river in the 16th century where merchant ships from Holland, Portugal, Japan, China,. came for exchanging trade. Visit Quan Cong Pagoda, Trading Ceramic Museum, 400 year old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Temple. Enjoy dinner with Hoi An’s special foods “Cao Lau, Mi Quang”. Discovery “Hoi An ancient night” with a highlight of the tour around small streets bordered by ancient houses, gorgeous temples and an old bridge, specially walking around old town at night under the flickering lights of the many beautiful lanterns. Day 6: DANANG –NHA TRANG
Transfer to Danang Aiport for domestic flight to Cam Ranh Airport, Nha Trang City. Visit Yersin Museum, Nha Trang Cathedral, Institute of Oceanography. In the afternoon, boat trip to visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium and Tam Island. Sea-bathing at Tam Beach and try marine sports.. Overnight in Nha Trang. (B/L/D)
Day 7: NHA TRANG – DA LAT
Depart Nha Trang for Dalat, a cool mountain resort. Established as a hill station at the beginning of the century, Dalat is reminiscent of an alpine town with its French chalets and pine forests. It’s lakes, waterfalls, evergreen forest and gardens make Dalat one of the most enjoyable places in Vietnam. On the way, visit Long Son Pagoda, Po Nagar Cham Tower, a secret Hindu site dating back to the 2nd century AD, and Po Klong Garai Cham Tower. Arrive in Dalat and enjoy a scenic drive around Xuan Huong Lake and Dalat Flower Garden, before check-in at hotel. Overnight in Dalat. (B/L/D)
Day 8: DALAT – HOCHI MINH CITY
An morning of sightseeing in Dalat takes in the art deco former summer residence of Emperor Bao Dai, the old Dalat Railway Station, Xuan Huong Lake, the Central Market and Lam Ty Ni Pagoda where a Buddhist monk, Vien Thuc, produces his abstract paintings and writes poetry. After lunch depart for Ho Chi Minh City with a short stop at Prenn waterfall. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh. (B/L/D)
Day 9: HOCHI MINH CITY – CU CHI TUNEL
A morning city tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals, takes in the former Presidential Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, a lacquer-ware factory and Thien Hau Pagoda in the city’s bustling Chinatown. In the afternoon, visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh. (B/L/D).
Day 10: HO CHI MINH CITY – SIEM REAP
At leisure until transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival at Siem Reap you will be greeted by local guide and transfer to hotel. Visit to the Angkor Wat Temple before making our way to the summit Phnom Bakheng Hill to watch the sunset. Enjoy diner with traditional Khmer folk performance of Apsara. Overnight in Sieam Reap (B/L/D).
Day 11: ANGKOR TEMPLE COMPLEX
Today we visit the fortified Royal City of Angkor Thom. The most important monuments are located in the centre of the city, namely the Bayon, Baphoun and the Terrace of Elephants. The Bayon in particular is a fascinating piece of architecture and one of the most photographed. It is a bizarre structure, with a total of 54 towers elaborately decorated with over 200 enigmatic smiling faces. From Angkor Thom we proceed to Ta Prohm temple and then in the afternoon we drive out to the Tonle Sap Lake, Asia's largest inland lake to spend a couple of hours on the water. (B/L/D).
Day 12: SIEM REAP
Breakfast at the hotel. At leisure until the departure transfer to airport for your flight onward. (B)
